Tax rules are applied to all inbound bank transfers, which includes cash deposits from the Post Office & PayPoint as they are deposited using bank transfer.
Other types of inbound transfers that are excluded from the Tax rule:
Transfers into your account from other pots
Refunds for items purchased on your card
