We are in the process of rolling out functionality for inbound payments as part of the ‘Confirmation of Payee’ scheme. This will be done on a phased basis, with NatWest & HSBC being the first banks to go live and others coming soon.

This means that if the person sending you money doesn’t use a bank that is currently enabled with us, the confirmation of payee check will not be completed. Your clients can still send you money. However, their bank may prompt them to check your account details before sending, especially if it's the first time that they've paid you.
