At the moment, Mettle doesn’t offer a Current Account Switching Service. This means that you would need to switch over any scheduled payments and Direct Debits manually to NatWest.
Mettle is provided by NatWest, however we run as a separate entity. This means that if you wish to switch from a Mettle business account to a NatWest business account, this would still need to be done manually.
If you have previously completed a Current Account Switching request from Mettle to NatWest, please note this will not process as we’re not part of the Current Account Switching Service.
To make your account switch easier, our team can help you with a partial switch request for your recurring payments. The partial switch request will need to be received from NatWest directly.
We’ll create a document that lists all the recurring payments on your Mettle account. We’ll send this to you, and you can then forward it to NatWest to have those payments set up on your new account.
