FreeAgent is free for Mettle customers and automates a lot of the process:
Categorise: Go through your transactions in FreeAgent to ensure all your Q1 income and expenses are correctly categorised.
Review: FreeAgent will automatically compile these into your first MTD Quarterly Update summary.
File: Double-check the numbers, tap 'Submit', and authorise the direct transmission to HMRC.
Once sent, FreeAgent will display an HMRC confirmation receipt which you should save for your records.
