What should I do if I've lost my card or it has been stolen?

Manage a lost or stolen debit card by freezing it or ordering a new one. Find out about cancellation rules and future replacement fees.

How to lock your card

If you misplace your card, you should lock it immediately to keep your money safe.

  1. Go to the 'Account' screen in your app.

  2. Tap ‘Lock card’.

  3. To use it again, tap ‘Unlock card’ once you find it.

Alternatively, you can lock your card here.

Note: If you have already cancelled your card, you won’t be able to use it again or reactivate it.


Replace a lost or stolen card

If you can’t find your card, you need to order a new one.

  1. Go to the 'Account' screen.

  2. Tap ‘Replace’.

  3. Follow the steps on the screen to finish your order.

Important: We charge a £5 fee to replace a card if it is lost. This fee starts from 11 May 2026.
