How to allow external apps to see your transaction history. Manage permissions for financial providers and approve data sharing in the app.

When you use a third party, you'll be asked to give your consent to share your information with them.

If the third party app is on the same device as your Mettle app:

Once you give consent, you'll be redirected to the Mettle app where you'll need to authorise the access request.

If the third party app is on a different device:

Once you give your consent, you'll need to scan a QR code to review the access request. You'll be redirected to the Mettle app where you'll need to authorise the access request.

Your data will only be shared when you give your consent and Mettle has checked the third party is regulated by the FCA or another national authority.

We'll store your access approvals and check every time the third party requests access to your account. You can check your approvals in the app.

Important: Mettle will never suggest that you download a third-party app.
