How do I cancel a sweeping payment?

To cancel a sweeping payment from your Mettle app:

  • Go to your Account screen

  • Tap Connections and select the third party provider

  • Tap ‘Remove connection’ and confirm

You can also visit the third party website to withdraw your permissions. When removing a VRP in the Mettle app, you should notify the third party of your decision to understand the implications of doing so.

Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to stop inbound transfers from an account if they have a scheduled payment enabled with their bank. Please contact the account owner to ensure the scheduled payment is cancelled via their banking app.
