When you use Easy Top Up you will first be asked to select your bank from a list connected to Payit™ in the Mettle app.
You can only make payments from a third party bank account to your Mettle account if your bank is on the list connected to Payit™. Please note you will only be able to make payments from UK based accounts in GBP.
You’ll be asked to confirm the payment value and for your consent for us to start the payment for you. You’ll then be sent to your bank's mobile app where you can select which account you want to make the payment from. Your bank will only display the accounts you’re able to make a payment from using Open Banking.
You should contact your bank if you can’t see an account you'd expect to see. You’ll also need to check that payment details are correct.
After the payments details have been confirmed and the payment is complete, you will be sent back to the Mettle app.
We’ll tell you if your payment has been successful. In most cases the money should be in your account within seconds but it can sometimes take up to 2 hours.
