Why we’re introducing service fees

Learn why Mettle is introducing charges for physical cash and card services and how this supports the growth of your business.

Investing in your business growth

At Mettle, our goal is to provide you with the best tools to help your business thrive. To make sure we can continue to invest in the features that matter most to you, we’re introducing some changes to our fee structure starting 11 May 2026.

Why some things are changing

Processing physical cash withdrawals and deposits, along with replacing bank cards, involves operational costs. By introducing a fee for these specific actions, we can make sure that Mettle remains a high-quality service for small businesses.

What this means for you

The new fees will apply to specific actions involving physical cash and card replacements. Most of your day-to-day digital banking remains unchanged.

We want to be as transparent as possible about these updates. You can find a full breakdown of the upcoming changes and our current pricing on our website: https://www.mettle.co.uk/fee-information-document/

Note: These changes don't kick in until 11 May 2026. Until then, your current terms remain exactly the same.
