When you’ll be charged
When you pay cash into your Mettle account, the fee is not taken at the counter. Instead, the £2.75 fee will be processed automatically as soon as the cash has successfully reached your account balance.
How we’ll notify you
You don’t need to check your statement to see if the fee has gone through. We will send you a push notification immediately after the transaction is complete. This notification will confirm:
That your cash deposit was successful.
The specific fee amount deducted.
Effective date
These charges are part of our updated fee schedule. Please keep in mind that these fees do not begin until 11 May 2026.
Note: Ensure you have your push notifications turned on in your phone settings so you can receive instant confirmation of your deposits and fees.
