Where to find your limits
Your account limits depend on the type of Mettle account you have. You can check your specific limits in the app to see how much you can spend or transfer.
Standard account limits
For most accounts, these are the daily and monthly limits for your card and transfers:
Card payments: You can spend up to £10,000 per day.
ATM withdrawals: You can take out up to £500 per day.
Contactless payments: The limit for a single tap is £100.
Account balance: You can hold up to £1 million in your main account.
How to check for changes
If you need to see more detail about your specific account type — such as e-money vs bank accounts — you can follow these steps:
Open your Mettle app.
Go to the ‘Account’ tab.
Tap ‘Get help’ to view our latest FAQs on limits.
