Before you close your Mettle account, you must complete three checks:
Make sure your balance is zero.
Check that you have no pending transactions.
Check that your contact details are correct.
To finish closing your account, please speak with an agent to ask them to close your account. The best way to contact us is through our in-app chat. Just tap 'Get help' on the Account tab and one of our team will be happy to help.

What happens next
We will send you a copy of all your past statements. You will get the statement for the current month on the first day of the next month.
Important: You cannot open a new account after you close your current one. We know this is a key feature for many businesses and we are currently working to be able to offer this in the future, however we are unable to facilitate this at this moment in time.
