Make sure to cancel a Direct Debit at least one working day before the payment is due. Working days are Monday to Friday and do not include bank holidays.
Important: If a payment is due today, it is too late to cancel it in the app.
How to cancel a Direct Debit:
Go to the 'Payments' tab.
Tap ‘Direct Debits’.
Choose the Direct Debit you want to stop.
Tap ‘Cancel Direct Debit’.
Telling the business
You should also let the business know that you have stopped the payment. You might still need to pay them in a different way. If the payment has already gone through, you need to contact the business to get more details.
