If you have an e-money account, it’s possible your Direct Debit was set as dormant.

To meet regulatory requirements, an automated process for old Direct Debits has been introduced. Direct Debits that haven’t seen any activity for more than 2 years will automatically be set as dormant.The dormant status makes sure the Direct Debit won’t be honoured. You can set up a new Direct Debit with the supplier if you want the Direct Debit payment to continue.
