Account costs
It is free to open and hold a Mettle account. There is no monthly fee for our standard service.
Fees starting 11 May 2026
From 11 May 2026, you’ll need to pay for some account actions:
£1 for each cash withdrawal
£2.75 for each cash deposit
£5 to replace your card if it is lost or damaged
Mettle+ subscription
You can choose to turn on Mettle+ for an extra monthly charge. This costs £4 and gives you more features to help you run your business.
Important: These new service fees do not start until 11 May 2026.
